Product Summary:

• SDC7315 is a positive high voltage smart diode controller that drives an external N-channel MOSFET to replace the Schottky diode.

• When used in diode or high-current diode applications, the SDC7315 reduces power consumption, heat dissipation,

  voltage losses,and PC board area.

• The SDC7315 easily provides ORs power to improve the reliability of the entire system. In a bipolar OR application, the

  SDC7315controls the forward voltage drop at both ends of the MOSFET to ensure that current is smoothly transferred

  from one path to the other without oscillating. In the event of a power failure or short circuit, the quick shutdown

  function minimizes the reverse current instantaneously.
